Stocktank General Store is open Friday and Saturday from 12 pm to 9 pm. If you
are looking for something a little on the comfortable side, music from local
folks that are really really good, a cold beer, a bowl of beans, then this is
the place for you. Stocktank General
Store is now open on Friday and Saturdays featuring cold beverages and snacks,
offering a good place to stop if you are cruising the Hill Country! Be prepared
to get LAID BACK!
Our review: It is small … less than a dozen
sites (but planning to expand). It ain’t fancy. It is nice and peaceful because it is
well away from the neighboring small town of Liberty Hill. For us, the three biggest pluses for this
park are:
1. It is near enough to our kids and grandkids that we can easily visit.
2. The General Store is really unique with good food and good entertainment on the weekends.
3. The price. At $200 a month that is hard to beat in this area.
